Butamben Warning If you have been given Butamben, you need to be aware that use of this drug in the United States is probably illegal. The drug was withdrawn in 1964 by its manufacturer. Then in 1998, the FDA forbid even the compounding of the drug because of safety concerns.
Several pain management doctors have been found to be using Butamben. This practice may be illegal. If you have been given Butamben, you could be at risk for serious disease.
